As a Mexican girl from Texas I know good Latin food. I had been on the road for about 6 months and craved something with a fried tortilla in it! the food is o.k.....honestly it was the best thing i put in my mouth but keep in mind i had been eating Russian and Chinese for 6 months. the food was good but not the best. the drinks were o.k. again, i NEEDED a margarita!!!! vodka and pijao no bueno. the price is o.k. really was not that cheap and the service was horrible. the only reason we came back was for chorizo and tequila.

for what it is, El Taco Loco is a great thing. but if there is another place more authentic and warming, go find it.   (no loco for el taco loco - July, 2009)

As a Canadian tourist in Hong Kong, I wanted to look up some good places to eat. I found "EL Taco Loco" with some good reviews. With excitement and craving for some good chicken quesadillas, I went to "EL Taco Loco" the very next day. The restaurant's appreance is not bad with some good atmosphere when I first walked in(no customer at that time). But the server who greeted me was not very nice. So, I decided to order take-out instead. The whole time in the restaurant, the server's attidude was very rude and not polite at all. I don't think any customer should be treated that way. But at that time, I was there for the food and not the service anymore. Finally, he handed me my chicken quesadilla, and I walked down the street to enjoy it (hoping that it would be yummy and hot). Hot it was, but it was very disappointing!! Not good at all! I would have to say overall, I would not go to this restaurant again.   (December, 2007)
